Mina Hibino

Mina Hibino is one of Takagi's and Nishikata's classmates and a good friend of Sanae and Yukari. Mina has long brown hair, which she usually keeps tied back into a ponytail, and very short bangs. Most notably, she has thick eyebrows and large brown eyes. She is noticeably shorter than most of her classmates, making her appear much younger than she actually is. As an adult in the spin-off manga, she has grown taller but still remains comparatively short. She is still the shortest among her classmates. Her hair is longer and she ties it in a braid. When at the kindergarten, where she teaches, she wears a sweater and apron. In general, she wears a simple top and pants. Mina is a kind, energetic, bubbly girl and is usually cheerful and optimistic around others. She is especially playful and noisy around her two closest friends, Sanae and Yukari. She can be a bit silly and her enthusiasm and loudness can annoy her friends but they find it endearing too. She is pretty good at cooking according to herself. She loves cats and would do anything in order to pet them as per Ashita wa Doyōbi 14. Unlike Yukari, she is not studious. While she can often be hard on herself sometimes, she usually snaps out of it, as she hates being in a somber mood. She's the type who needs lots of sleep but she also wakes up very early to help with various chores like helping out with making food for the family. She tries to act mature by doing stuff like drinking coffee and wants to be perceived as such but she always fails in her mission as she is actually very childish. As an adult, she is still sweet and cheerful. However, being a mother of three and a teacher has made her more responsible and strict, though, Sanae and Yukari think of her as someone who is way too easygoing.
