Minsc

Minsc is a neutral good human ranger and a potential companion and is most memorable for being the proud owner of Boo, a 'Miniature Giant Space Hamster' in his mind. Minsc is very capable physically but mentally much more limited. Besides talking to the hamster Boo, whom he believes to be a miniature giant space hamster, he has a very simplistic view of the world and is often quick to decide that someone is evil and should be attacked.
