Mrs. Stadtfeld

Mrs. Stadtfeld is the second wife of Mr. Stadtfeld, Kallen's and Naoto Kōzuki's father. She is Kallen's and Naoto's stepmother. Since she could not bear any children of her own, Mrs. Stadtfeld accepted her husband's proposal to adopt his daughter Kallen as his heir. Though Mrs. Stadtfeld ordered Kallen's biological mother never to see her daughter again, Kallen's mother refused and managed to persuade the Stadtfelds to hire her as a maid in their house so she could remain close to Kallen. However, Mrs. Stadtfeld is openly abusive towards Kallen's mother, often hitting Kallen's mother whenever any of the servants in the household make a mistake. Kallen has implied that Mrs. Stadfeld is also disloyal to her husband and has numerous side lovers who she spends the night with whenever her husband was out of the country doing work for the Empire.
