Description

Murr Hart is a wizard that resides within Western Country. Long ago, he was known as a genius philosopher and inventor, but his soul was shattered to pieces by the Great Calamity. After that, he was raised from scratch by Shylock, and his personality shifted from that of a proud philosopher to something comparable to a playful cat. Despite the moon being the reason his soul shattered, he is nevertheless still in love with the Great Calamity. Murr is a youthful-looking man with a cat-like expression. He has a light purple bob cut and bright, almost neon-aquamarine slanted eyes. His outfit is made up of a patterned shirt jacket over a red shirt with a blue accented collar. His default accessories include the rings on his right hand - one of which is his Magical Tool which consists of a silver ring with a red beryl stone that he cut and shaped himself when he was a child - a pendant around his neck, and dangling earrings to add to the otherwise simple outfit. Unlike other characters, he has a secondary default outfit that represents his old self. It consists of a classic three piece formal dark brown suit with a dark aquamarine vest. Along with the suit, he wears a brown cape and a large wizard hat. The inside of the cape and the underside of the hat are a bright cobalt blue with a pattern of stars and moons - on occasion, moving shooting stars can be seen flashing across the fabric, giving it an otherworldly feeling. His wizard crest appears on his right palm. Murr is mischievous and eccentric, making himself quite the character. He's always full of energy and has a strong affinity to shiny objects, particularly precious gems. Hyperactive and unpredictable, he tends to speak his mind, usually derailing conversations with off-topic remarks or playful threats to bite whoever's addressing him. He hates sitting still, and usually appears to not be paying attention to anything that doesn't interest him. He'll walk away from a conversation if the topic gets boring, in line with his cat-like attitude, and as a reflection of the person he was prior to his soul shattering, Murr tends to be blunt, inconsiderate, and unintentionally cruel at times. In the past, he was revered and idolized for his eminence as a scholar, particularly known for his unmatched intelligence and his works as a philosopher. He was also a jeweler, a professor of mineralogy, an astronomer, a mathematician, an inventor, etc. People all around know about his works even in the modern day, as he helped shape the human world into what it is now by providing humans with the knowledge to create Magical Technology - techniques and machines that derive their power from mana stones without having to sacrifice anything in return. Most people think highly of him, as they've never met him in person but are usually familiar with his works, however those who did meet this version of Murr knew him as an arrogant, selfish, haughty man who would look down on others. He talked down to people in a calm fashion, taunting and provoking them with his words, which stirred up a lot of mixed feelings on those who admired him. The Murr from back then was considered unlikable by most people, including Shylock, despite also admiring him greatly. His soul shattered when he fell in love with the Great Calamity, and as a result of his bizarre injury, these fragments can take on a physical form of their own, most of them harboring the same arrogant personality he had before breaking apart. We only see glimpses of his old self in his occasional tactless questions and uncharacteristically philosophical remarks, masking a hidden well of deep curiosity and passion for knowledge behind his whimsical personality.
