Nadeshiko Benibara

Nadeshiko Benibara is a side character in the Shuffle! series. She is Rin Tsuchimi's homeroom teacher at Verbena Academy who is single, attractive and she is frequently the victim of pickup lines, including from the King of Demons and Itsuki Midoriba. She gets her own route in Shuffle! Essence+ and Really? Really!. Nadeshiko tends to be a hot-blooded woman; she loves straightforwardness, determination, effort, and friendship, which is tough on her students. Still, she also has flexibility, depending on the situation. It appears she had some martial arts training, for example, being able to slice a bottle with her bare hand. She has a habit of dealing out extreme punishments such as writing 100-page reports and dragging a tire around the track for minor offenses. Due to her looks and appearance, she is very popular with the students. In Really? Really!, during the cultural festival event, she is nominated for "Miss Verbena" (similar to homecoming queen) despite being a teacher. She placed third.
