Nao Kashiwagi

Nao Kashiwagi is a character in the Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso anime and manga series. Nao Kashiwagi has light brown hair tied into a ponytail, brown eyes, and freckles on her face. She is frequently seen wearing her school uniform throughout the series. Her face is usually inscrutable and seems to be indifferent to other people's troubles (though her actions speak otherwise). In the anime her hair is straight, but in the manga it’s curly. Nao Kashiwagi is a good friend of Tsubaki and is often seen by her side at school. She always tries to show Tsubaki the truth in the most blunt way, often embarrassing her. Her advice has broken Tsubaki's stubborness to admit that she has feelings for Kousei Arima. It has also been revealed that the relationship advice she gives to Tsubaki comes from her collection of BL (Boys Love; Yaoi) books.
