Natsume

Natsume is a secondary character who attends Yamabuki High School as an art student. She is in the same year as Sae and Hiro, but is in class B, not A. As a result, she has few opportunities to interact with them within school. She lives at home with her mother and commutes to school every morning: 10 minutes by bicycle to the nearest station, then 42 minutes by train. Natsume wears her teal hair in a braid that rests on her right shoulder. Like every other character, her eyes match the color of her hair. Not much is known about Natsume's skills and interests regarding art. She attended club activities while at Yamabuki but the exact club was never specified. She plans to attend Ama Art University, which coincidentally is also the same art college as Hiro. She is a natural tutor and enjoys helping her juniors with their academic work. This became apparent when she was finally invited to visit the Hidamari Apartments in the manga continuity, where she proved adept at explaining homework to the underclassmen.
