Nier (Brother) Husbando

The protagonist of NieR Replicant and its remake, Nier is a young man in search of a cure for the disease his sister Yonah suffers from, known as the Black Scrawl. They reside in their parents' former house, and he takes odd jobs from people in the nearby village to support them both. While not officially named, he has since been referred to both by fans and on the Drama CD as Nier. In NieR Reincarnation, he is referred to as The World-Ender. His traveling companions are a talking tome, Grimoire Weiss, a young woman named Kainé, and a young boy named Emil.
