Nubia is an honorable Amazon warrior and formerly the guardian of Doom's Doorway. After Hippolyta abdicated, Nubia was appointed the new queen of Themyscira and, later, the queen of all Amazons. Princess Nubia, the dark-skinned twin daughter of Queen Hippolyta, was kidnapped by Mars and raised to be a weapon against the Amazons. Nubia was the older twin sister of Diana, and theoretically the next in line to inherit the throne.
