Iori is always shown wearing a jacket with the hoodie covering his head. He has shoulder length hair that reaches to the headphones resting on his neck. In the third program, Iori was first described as someone laid back and not wanting to be part of anything troublesome. He was shown to not want to be the leader of the Blue Team. However, it was later shown that Iori's real personality is more cunning, manipulative, and calculative. He does things that will go to his benefit and does not participate in anything that he thinks isn't worth it. Plot Third Program Iori's first appearance was during the time Akira Shiroyanagi went to negotiate with the Blue Team for more recruits. Iori was offered a deal that each person participating would receive 200 points. In response, Iori refused to help but said that he would pass the word to his team members if a condition was fulfilled. He didn't trust a team that desperately relies on currency to gain recruits. He ask for the condition of having Yuri Amagake in order for him to spread the word around. The condition was rejected but was negotiable if Iori would agree to fight under the command of Akira Shiroyanagi. It was mentioned that Iori had earned a considerable amount of points from a quest in the past which caused him to be promoted to the leader of the Blue Team. Due to this, Iori understood that Yuri Amagake had an ability that may rival his own. Iori left without agreeing to participate but said that he would spread the word to his members. With the victory of the Green Team, Iori shows up in front of Akira Shiroyanagi and congrats him on the victory. Iori states that he has been observing the Green Team and wanted to have a conversation. He then proceeds to display his ability to Akira. Iori stretches his hands which turns into a cannon and injures Akira Shiroyanagi. Finally, he voices out his hatred for Mion and claims that he will kill her. Fourth Program Iori entered into the fourth program with two members of the Blue Team along with him. With them, they met with the other participants that will be on the same team as him. On the other side of the cameras, the observers show the intention to kill Iori for unstated reasons. After the fourth program started, he was confronted by another participant of this team, Shishido (one of the Red Team's leaders), and was offered a collaboration. He also met Shin Kumagiri and offered him to join his team. It is later revealled that his goal is to take down Mion with the help of Shiroyanagi Akira. His goal is to take back his grace which hadbeen stolen by Mion. Mion became an observer by killing him one of the few first observers Shen.
