Otako

Otako is one of the main characters of the Please Tell Me! Galko-chan anime and manga. Otako is more of this sort of otaku and is best friends with Galko and Ojou. Otako may be the same age as all of her peers but she is perceived as a young middle schooler to strangers. What gives people that idea is her lack of breasts and height. This is further exaggerated by her tall, curvy friends. Otako has a thin body and soft look. Her hair is a messy bob with micro bangs in a desaturated brown color. She has big clunky red glasses that outline her brown eyes, on top of those she has upturned small but sharp brows. She wears her school uniform with a baggy grey sweater. In the manga she looks roughly the same besides her dark purple hair. She likes making jokes which sometimes makes Galko uncomfortable, one time she made her cry by saying she couldn't be a mother. From that time Otako tried to be more sensible about what she said, since she didn't want to lose Galko. Otako often doesn't care about all the emails that Galko send her, since they're mostly about her nails, or other stuff she doesn't care about. She has a strong relationship with Galko and she doesn't want to screw it up.
