Piranha Plant

Piranha Plants (also known as Piranha Flowers[1][2][3] and Piranhas and misspelled as pirana plants[4][5] in early manuals and as Pirahna Flower in an Australian Nintendo Magazine System issue[6]) are large, carnivorous plants encountered throughout the Super Mario franchise. They are seemingly based on Venus flytraps and eat anything that approaches them. The head of a Piranha Plant is most commonly either red or green with multiple other colors.
