Princess Emeraude

Princess Emeraude is the sovereign ruler of Cephiro and a Goddess-like figure whom all the inhabitants pray to for peace, prosperity, and protection. She is also the first person to summon Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji to the mystical, otherworldly realm of Cephiro, to become the legendary Magic Knights. Princess Emeraude is an extremely beautiful and elegant young woman who has very long blonde hair and green or blue eyes. She is often seen wearing a white dress as her casual clothes, and a tiara with a green orb. Emeraude is kind and sweet, with gentle soul and extremely sacrificial. She feels extremely guilty for failling in love and not focusing enterely in her duties as a pilar. She has a stubborn streak since no one can move her from her decision of ending her own life to free Cephiro. When Zagato is killed, a more fiery side is seen of her, since she is engulfed with shock, grief that quickly turns into rage, as she attacks the magic knights with all her power. She may also be short sighted since Hikaru was able to end the pillar system with her will, but Emeraude never thought about this solution. In the OVA, Emeraude is delusional drowned in grief since her lover died, and she does nothing other than sing to the illusion of her loved one, neglecting her duties.
