Raven Husbando

Raven (レイヴン Reivun), birth-named Damuron Atomais (ダミュロン・アトマイス Damyuron Atomaisu), then renamed Schwann Oltorain (シュヴァーン・オルトレイン Shuvaan Orutorein, "Schwann Aultraine"), is a protagonist in Tales of Vesperia. Despite his fishy appearance, he is a high-ranked member of Altosk, one of the five master guilds of the Union. Raven was born as Damuron Atomais to a family of nobles in a small town called Farryheid, thirty-five years before the events of the story. After rumors were spread about his mischievous acts with another female noble, his father wanted him to join the knights in order to fix his immature personality. At first, he didn't want to join the knights and ran away only to decide to join the knights to meet more pretty ladies in the capital. He first makes an appearance in a jail cell next to Yuri Lowell early in the story. There he talks with a knight for a short time before he starts a conversation with Yuri. There, he cryptically suggests that Mordio, the Blastia thief Yuri had been looking for when he was imprisoned, is a famed mage from Aspio. However, before they can talk further, Commandant Alexei shows up to retrieve Raven, which makes Yuri wonder why such an important person such as the Commandant would personally come for a prisoner.
