Rodney

Rodney was the second Nelson-class battleships commissioned in 1927. The Nelsons, along with the Colorado-class battleships and the Nagato-class battleships were called Big Sevens. At the start of WWII, she participated in sinking the battleship Bismarck . Due to the low speed, she played escorting and supporting roles for the war. In 1943, she took part in a series of battles in the Mediterranean. In the Normandy landings, 1944, Rodney participated in the supporting mission. After the war, she was decommissioned and scrapped.
