Ruriko Ikusawa

Ruriko is the only known Gate Keeper in Japan at the beginning of the anime. She controls the Life Gate, which allows her to heal physical injuries. She was once Shun's neighbor and classmate, with whom she was secretly in love, before he moved away following his father's death.
