Ryoko Subaru is the hotheaded leader of the Aestivalis squad for the Nadesico, she piloted a red Aestivalis 0G Battle Frame during the Jovian War. Tough and rather brash, she has little respect for people who can't prove themselves or don't do their absolute best. She is the daughter of a scram-jet fighter pilot so she really hasn't had a normal childhood.
