Sakuko Akiyama

Sakuko Akiyama or address as Chako by her friends is one of the main characters alongside her best friend and crush Reiji Kurose, she mostly wears her school outfit with glasses on. She is really hard working, and smart. However she is very insecure about her weight, and how Reiji Kurose thinks of her. Inspired by the novels of her favourite novel writer, Kosaku Esemori, that she has been reading since she was 14, she dreams of escaping the small town and be an editor for him.
