Sasaki

Sasaki (佐々木, Sasaki) is a minor character in Weathering with You. She is a police officer of Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. On August 21, 2021, Sasaki accompanied detective Takai on a visit to Hina Amano's residence. After Takai asked Hina about a runaway boy, the female officer raised her concern about the two underage siblings living alone without a guardian, but Hina rejected her concern. On August 22, Sasaki and fellow officers arrived at New Amore hotel to apprehend the runaway children. She was later assigned to look after Nagi Amano while he was in the police custody. She wrote down his activities during that time. She was asked by Kana to be taken to the toilet, which created a distraction and allowed Nagi to escape.
