Sawatari Ayumi

Sawatari Ayumi is Kaoruko's friend and classmate at Kikyo Private Academy. Raised in a strict and accomplished family, she grew to rely on the negative rumors about the students at Chidori Public High School to protect her self-esteem. Ayumi is a rather resigned and quiet person who attends Kikyo. She like the rest of her peers showed contempt towards the boys at Chidori and would stay far away as possible from them. She was also jealous of her contemporaries most notably Kaoruko who scored highly in exams, something she came to resent as she felt her grades were inferior to Kaoruko's despite her attempts to work hard and improve. Ultimately this lead her to develop a low opinion of herself.
