Saya

A rough-speaking, tomboyish girl incarcerated in the 13th Correctional Facility following what is recorded as a "large public disturbance escalating to manslaughter." Toughened by a life of hardship following a difficult childhood, Saya was no stranger to frequent clashes with authority, which she abhors for their corruption and complacency. However, saying that she dispenses her own personal brand of justice is too noble a statement; everyone knows it's every man, woman, and child for themselves on these streets. Selfish and suspicious of others, Saya's distrust often leads her to doubt their intentions—a trait that has served her well through the years. While not averse to violence if provoked, she much prefers intimidation tactics—if her swaggering manner won't scare off a thoughtless thug, her massive chainsaw certainly will. No one is quite sure where she acquired such a weapon, though there are many channels through which illegally modified tools end up in the lawless outer city. As Saya puts in her own words: "No one's gonna help you. Talk loudly and carry a huge metal stick. Preferably with metal teeth." Reluctantly drawn into the mysterious—and punishing—Survivor Games at the behest of a mysterious voice over the facility's PA system, Saya's abrasive personality seems like a winning formula for reaching the base floor with the correct key.
