He's a young man who was transported to another world without really understanding how it happened, all he can remember is that he wanted to go somewhere else, and it just happened. Within this new world, he discovers that it is a world similar to the world of games, and he also discovers that he has been given a strange control that allows him to stop time indefinitely until he undoes this ability, causing time to flow again. And later on, he discovers that he is apparently the destined hero of this world as he has a special timer that only he can see, apparently symbolizing the time he has to complete quests that are not normally granted directly to him.
