Shikishi Naishinnou

Princess Shokushi (式子内親王 Shokushi-naishinnō, 1149 – March 1, 1201[2]) was a Japanese classical poet, who lived during the late Heian and early Kamakura periods. One of her poem was included as No.89 in Fujiwara no Teika's Hyakunin Isshu. Princess Shokushi was portrayed as an imperial figure with dark purple eyes and long brown hair that extended past her hips down to her feet. She used to don a traditional kimono similar to a junihitoe, as court ladies usually wears.
