Shino

Shino (よしの Yoshino?) is a peppy deer villager in New Horizons. She was revealed in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct on October 15, 2021, and introduced to the game in the version 2.0 update. Her name originates from Yoshino, a Japanese female name, shika ("deer"), and Noh, a genre of Japanese theatre. In New Horizons, she an education hobby and can be seen wearing rimmed glasses, reading a novel while outside, and using a magnifying glass when near certain objects.
