Shirogane’s Mother

Shirogane's Mother was described by Papa Shirogane as a popular woman, whom he went to great lengths to impress, mirroring Miyuki Shirogane's struggle to impress Kaguya Shinomiya. Besides being popular, she was also extremely ambitious. After Papa Shirogane's factory went bankrupt due to mismanagement, her love for him faded and she started placing her high expectations on her children. Miyuki noted that she had always wanted a smart child and she gradually lost interest in him after he failed multiple early entrance exams and only taking his little sister, the smarter of the two with her when she left. It can be inferred that she has very high standards and expectations of others, and has little to no qualms cutting ties with those who fall short of them.
