She is a human that was found in the Outside by Auntie before the start of the series. She was thought to be cursed and was to be executed, but was left abandoned with a note and was found by Teacher. She was later touched by an outsider but is unique, because even though she is cursed, she isn't becoming an Outsider. Auntie states that the reason she is immune is because she has been a good girl, and the gods are rewarding her.
