Shunji Tamada

Dai's old classmate. He is a soccer club member with a carefree personality, often picking up girls and smoking underage. He moves to Tokyo to attend university and live a campus life, but ends up living with Dai. He feels a sense of dissonance between his ideal and reality of university life, and quits his club. He is invited by Dai to join a band as a drummer, but faces strong opposition from Sawabe, so he buys his own drum set for practice.
