SIG-510

A selective fire battle rifle developed by Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft (SIG) during the Cold War. Also known as the Sturmgewehr 57 (Stgw 57), it entered service with the Swiss Army in 1957, remaining in inventory until 1990. Operating on a roller-delayed blowback mechanism, and using a 24-round box magazine, the SG 510 is capable of firing at a rate up to 600 rounds per minute with an effective firing range of 800 meters.
