Sophitia Alexandra

An innocent woman and the daughter of a simple baker, she is chosen by Hephaestus, the Greek god of the smith, to seek out and destroy the cursed blade known as Soul Edge. At the end of her journey, she manages to destroy the sword, but in the process is injured as a number of the blade's fagments pierce her body. Taki manages to rescue Sophitia and returns her to her home. After collapsing due to a vision of Soul Edge, a man named Rothion comes to her aid, and the two fall in love and marry.
