Suirei

Suirei is a major antagonist turned secondary character of The Apothecary Diaries. She is a descendant of the Imperial Family and a member of the Shi Clan. She is ultimately spared from the downfall of her paternal clan and taken in by Lady Ah-Duo. Suirei is a tall woman with rather androgynous features, being able to easily pass as a young adult man. Maomao observed that Suirei used makeup to downplay her natural beauty. Many palace women felt attracted to Suirei when she was disguised as "Tian."

Suirei is an introvert and does not have much energy to talk to others. She has a somewhat strict personality, as she admonished Maomao for nearly trespassing on the palace's military quarters.
