Suiren/ Minamo Rensou Suire

Suiren is a character in the Tenchi Muyo! OVA continuity, mainly appearing in Tenchi Muyo! GXP, featuring much more prominently in the novels. She, along with her partners, Hakuren, Gyokuren, & Karen, eventually becomes a wife of Seina Yamada. Suiren is the Fifth Princess of the Kingdom of Suire in the Renza Federation. Her real name is Lady Minamo Rensou Suire. She, along with her Renza partners, becomes a Lady-in-waiting to Lady Seto. This was initially part of a plan to steal secrets, possibly a Juraian Royal Treeship, so they could gain enough power to battle the pirates in their home territory. Suiren is a very quiet person, with a very 'thin' presence. It is eventually revealed that she had a bio-enhancement level of 10, the highest possible. This was a dangerous amount, to the point that it damaged her personality and could even damage her astral soul, leading to a sort of brain death. Why this had been done to her is unknown. This was adjusted by Washu, so as to relieve the strain on her. Because of the adjustment, she has become more noticeable and talkative, willing to share her opinions, but she tires easily if she talks for longer periods. With her high level of enhancement, she has developed an affinity with machines and her anti-ship combat skills are very high. Although still not as good as Amane's.
