Suzumi Mikado

Suzumi Mikado (未門 涼実 Mikado Suzumi) is the mother of Gao Mikado, Yota Mikado and Hanako Mikado, the wife of Takashi Mikado and the daughter of Hanae Juumonji. She took over the Mikado-style Aiki-jujutsu dojo in her husband's stead. She's very strict in regards to Gao's martial arts training, and demands he call her "sensei" (先生) in the English dub and "shihan" (師範) in the Japanese version (both words refer to an instructor). She is a good cook. She is voiced by Haruhi Terada (Japanese) and Catherine Gell (English)
