Sylvia

Sylvia is the fourth wife of Jean's father and so she is also his stepmother, because she looks a lot like his real mother, she brings him back memories of his childhood. After the dead of his father, who was drunk and fell off a horse, she remains alone living with Jean. Beacuase she and Jean were disinherited before the man died, they had to left their home and so the two went to Jean's grandfather plantation. Unfortunately, upon their arrival the reception is very cold and they are forced to live in a hovel outside the mansion.
