Takumi Mukai

Takumi Mukai is one of the characters available in THE iDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls and THE iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage. She is voiced by Yuuko Hara. Takumi is a rough, rude sukeban who left her old life as a gang leader for a life on the stage. She tends to be very shy and reluctant about her performances; mostly because she worries about the damage to her rep. Her idol outfits tend to be very cute or very elegant, though she hates girly and frilly outfits, and gets extremely angry when being forced to wear them. She has the tendency to trill her R’s, which is a speech pattern associated with Japanese gangsters. Her first S Rare depicts her finding and caring for a stray kitten. Said kitten makes appearances in various other idol's cards in different stages of growth, implying the office adopted it. In the tie-in Cinderella Girls Theater skits, Takumi is a teenage delinquent who is still adjusting to life as an idol. She is extremely passionate about her work and has a soft spot for cute things, like Chieri Ogata and Nono Morikubo in animal costumes, and can lose control of herself if she wants to pet them. She tries to be a good influence on the younger idols and has a mother and daughter type relationship with Rumi Wakui. Her closer friends include Natsuki Kimura, Miyo Harada, and Rina Fujimoto.
