Tech Jacket

High school student Zack(comic) or Zoe(show) Thompson finds Kelda, a dying alien from a race of incredibly intelligent but physically weak beings called the Geldarians. To make up for this they have invented the Tech Jacket, a vest that every Geldarian is equipped with upon birth. Seeing the human attempting to help him, but unable to warn him away as his crashed spaceship is going to self destruct and kill them both, the alien orders his Tech Jacket to separate from him and bind itself to Zach/Zoe, saving his life.
