Description

"Terrence" was a major antagonist in UnORDINARY. He was a spy for Spectre formerly going undercover as a second-year student of Wellston, becoming a member of it's school press and later Safe House. After partaking in an assault on the Rowden field trip using a disabler on John, he himself was disabled by Seraphina, then later detained by the Authorities. During his sentence, he was being held in Lovun Prison, undergoing "sessions" with Keon. This ended when he was abruptly killed by an unnamed assassin. Terrence was a character with a very normal appearance compared to most others in-universe. He was a short boy with light brown coloured hair and green eyes. At school, he wears the boy's uniform with the school vest, without the jacket. In his dorm, he's been seen wearing a tan T-shirt with horizontal blue stripes and black shorts. On the Rowden field trip, he wears a tan shirt with navy blue shorts. When using his ability, him and his clothes are rendered invisible, though sometimes he can be faintly seen (whether this is on purpose or to indicate his presence is unknown.) At school, Terrence displays himself as a calm, observant, and calculative student with not many standoffish qualities. He doesn't show much emotion, even when being bullied by Gavin. Naturally, his solitary nature drives him to avoid conflicts sometimes using his Invisibility to do so. He also frequently uses his ability to observe and gather information, sometimes writing it for the Wellston Weekly. Despite using his ability often, he likes to keep it a secret according to Roland. Those who consider him a friend (and even his mother) learn the hard way that he's unreliable in a jam and willing to leave anyone at the mercy of an aggressive threat due to a combination of his cowardice and unempathetic nature. Stemming from his traumatic past and abuse from high-tiers, Terrence turned into an extremist with a severe hatred toward high-tiers, whether or not they hurt him. This mindset was partially due to the influence of Orrin, who took advantage of the boy's weak mental state by acting as a father-figure to him to recruit him into Spectre. The executive ended up manipulating him so well that Terrence remained blind to the obvious fact that his supposed "family" was only ever using him up until just before his death. As a member of Spectre, Terrence was very mission-oriented. He's driven to achieve whatever objectives they assign him, no matter who he harms and he's willing to use his journalistic position to write articles that divert attention away from his activities. He has shown unwavering loyalty towards Spectre and thinks of them as “a family he never had”, even speaking in the first person when referring to how the organization feels. He was highly manipulative and intelligent, shown when he manipulates the Safe House votes to split up the group for easy picking and lowering Seraphina's guard so Spectre can conspire against Wellston. He had also been smart enough to stalk John and let his curiosity do the rest of the work so Spectre could enact their TRUE GOAL, disabling John. His cunningness, connections, and lack of empathy make him one of the most dangerous people in the school. His only displays of emotion are seen when he was with Spectre, putting on a façade or being interrogated by Keon, who forces him to relive his past. He puts on a happy display when he's at the Theme Park with Seraphina to lower her guard. He was also shown to be amicable among his fellow cohorts. He has good teamwork with them, shown by how he turns four of them invisible to sneak up on their victims in a coordinated effort. Contrarily, he was also shown getting angered when Keon forces him to relive his past, and getting Terrence’s corrupted mindset has turned him into a disrespectful and sadistic narcissist who seemingly enjoys when his classmates are endangered by Spectre, even his close friends. He believes high-tiers are tools for Spectre to control. He was cocky/spiteful enough to mock the god-tier Seraphina, believing she can't use her powers against him. He was also quite hypocritical, accusing high-tiers of knowing better than the rest of society, while simultaneously seeing them as little more than "powerful servants' that he needed to be able to control. It should also be noted he never thanked John, a supposed low-tier for saving him from a bully a while back, instead being both an indirect and direct cause of his downfall. His hypocrisy was perhaps shown most clearly in the fact that, despite his hatred toward high-tiers, he was ironically an elite-tier himself.
