The Mist

The Mist is a super-villain who was active during the Golden Age as the arch-nemesis to Starman. His power allows him to transform into a living gas, and parts of him can turn tangible at will. He has also been a member of the Injustice Society, and the Secret Society of Super-Villains. In an possible future, Kyle Knight became the next Mist as a member of the Justice Society of America. Eventually, the original Mist died in battle against Ted Knight. His son Kyle became a serial killer, and his daughter Nash later became the second Mist and the arch-nemesis to Starman's successor Jack Knig...
