Töregene is Ögedei's Sixth Wife. Originally a Naiman girl, she was the wife of Dayir Usun, chief of the Merkit Uhas clan. Despite a large age gap, she gradually warms to Dayir Usun with help from his daughter, Kulan. She hates Ögedei and the Mongol Empire for invading the Merkits and killing her husband.
