Toka Takao

Takao Toka is a secondary character in the D4DJ franchise, as well as a member of the groups Lynx Eyes and Call of Artemis. Toka is a proficient track maker who works under multiple pseudonyms. She states the reason for this is because she wants her songs to stand on their own merits, without her name attached. She's focused, driven, and a perfectionist who only goes home when necessary. As a result, her perception of time is completely messed up. Her favorite drink is water. She tends to act younger than her age and is described as a crybaby. Eight years prior to the events of the main story, Toka won every DJ competition, but one day she faced off against Mana in a DJ battle which resulted in a draw. She was intrigued at having met her match, and she would go on to form a unit with Mana as well as Airi and Shano. They were incredibly popular, which led to talent agencies contacting them. Both she and Shano had always planned on pursuing a career in the music industry, yet they were hesitant to go on without their newfound friends. However, they accepted the offer at the insistence of Airi and Mana, which led to the unit's disbandment and the formation of the professional unit Lynx Eyes.
