Tonbo Oi

An orphaned middle schooler living on the island of Kagoshima with her grandparents. As the oldest kid in the island (and the only one in her class), she often plays with smaller children. At the beginning of the show, she is tomboyish (mistaken for a boy), and she plays various sports and physical activities. Her favorite sport is golf, which she plays with a 3-iron golf club inherited from her father. Thus, golf serves as a connection with her father to her. She is recognized as a golf prodigy, and later she participates golf competitions.
