Ueno

Ueno is the protagonist of Ueno-San wa Bukiyou. She is the current president of the Science Club. Her inventions and how she uses them on Tanaka form the episodic structure of the story. Ueno is a brilliant inventor, bringing in a new device to every club meeting. However, she is smitten with Tanaka and many things she invents become schemes to put Tanaka in a perverse situation with her. She often does this with the idea that he will notice her. These plans almost always backfire, and she becomes frustrated or embarrassed at the situation she's put herself in. She is often angry with others...
