Unzen

The Unzen-class Heavy Cruiser was the primier Imperial Japanese Navy heavy cruiser. The Largest Pacific Type Cruiser ever created, the Unzen was ordered as part of the project to build up escorts for the dozen of so massive battleship projects in the late 1930s, the Unzen-class was built on plans similar to pretty much every other Japanese Cruiser. Sunk by aircraft from HMS Indomitable 1948, alongside IJN Nagato
