Waguri Kaoruko

Waguri Kaoruko is one of the main characters of Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku. Kaoruko is somewhat short, even being mistaken as a middle-schooler by others. She usually wears her hair down, with a headband, but often changes her hairstyle when going on a date or going to work. Kaoruko is a very kind person to which people dutifully note how often she thanks others regardless of how small it may be. Kaoruko can sometimes overthink particularly at times and can be easily embarrassed particularly when the other girls in her friend group tease about how she met Rintaro or who he is like as a boyfriend. Kaoruko is extremely hard-working, both at her job and in school. This can be seen where she helps Rintaro with his exam revision as well as her scholarship within Kikyo. Despite her strong work ethic, Kaoruko's modesty causes her to value other people's achievements above her own. Kaoruko is a very friendly and approachable individual which is evident by how far she goes to helping people.
