Windows We-tan (real name, Taeko) is a character parodying the popular OS-tan character, Windows Me-tan. She is also a personification herself, though what she specifically personifies varies from portrayal to portrayal. However she is not necessarily just a parody and had a bit of a purpose as a stand-in character for Me-tan during a large issue. When Me-tan was first introduced and widely accepted, she had quite a few controversies. One of which was an issue with copyright.
