Wenge Kong Husbando

Kong Wenge/ China is one of the recurring antagonists of the series Ping Pong: the Animation by Taiyō Matsumoto. he is a second year exchange student in Tsujido High School and the captain and ace of their Ping Pong Club, he was invited to Tsujido by Tsujido's ping pong coach in hopes of improving the team through Kong's guidance. Kong got his nickname China for his chinese descent, he is from a rural village in China but frequents the city for his tournaments, thus leaving his mother behind. At a young age, he practiced ping pong a lot and got results that gained him many sponsorships to support his family, he even placed first the 6th Jiangsu Province "White Star Cup" Ping Pong youth tournament. During some point in Kong's life, he was part of the first string in a ping pong team but he was demoted from the top team for a mistake he made. Kong uses a right-handed penhold grip and his paddle is pips-in rubber on both sides, his rubber is chinese and is very tacky for maximum spin. His style is Counter-Driving and was commented on by Peco for his crazy variation in speed. Kong also has great ping pong knowledge, identifying that Smile was losing on purpose to Peco just by listening to their plays.
