The Intention of the Abyss

The Intention of the Abyss, also known as Alice, is a recurring antagonist from Jun Mochizuki's Pandora Hearts. She is supposedly able to control the entirety of the Abyss, and all Chains seek to please and protect her. Thus her power is sought by Pandora, a government research organization run by the Four Great Dukedoms. She can't appear physically in the material world, but frequently manifests through the creation of smaller dimensions and through contacting Alice, whom she loathes.
