Yakui-san

Yakui (commonly called "Yakui-san") is a Nijiura Maid character, which is a form of pun-formed character popularized on Futaba's Nijiura board. Yakui is a very popular if not most popular Nijiura Maid in the west. Her name comes from the words medicine (やくじ, yakuji) and calamity. She is addicted to pharmaceuticals and is often pictured drooling or with a crazed look in her eye. In the early days, she was recommended by Yuki Kotonomiya to be the rightful successor, but she was opposed by the other teachers of Megaku and disappeared.
