Yuko Harada

Yuko Harada is the friend of Shizuku Tsukishima in Whisper of the Heart. Yuko is fourteen years old like Shizuku. She is tall, and has brown eyes and brown hair, which she wears in two braids. She wears a Japanese junior high school uniform. In the beginning of the movie she wears a blue sleeveless dress and a floppy hat with a purple band. She has a huge crush on Sugimura and is a really good student and likes to tease Shizuku after Shizuku acts weird around Seji. She is a good friend, but gets annoyed with Shizuku sometimes.
