Ameth

Ameth is a character in Princess Connect! Re:Dive. She is a former Guide Fairy and accompanied Yuuki and Twinkle Wish on their adventures in the original Princess Connect. At that time her name was Fio. She assumed the name Ameth after the events of Princess Connect occurred and Princess Connect! Re:Dive began. She is currently working on recovering from past events and is trying to fix the abnormalities in this world. Fio is a fairy with fair skin and friendly pink eyes. Her wings are light green. Her long, curly green hair is worn in pigtails held by a gold sphere on top, adorned by a pink flower. She wears a white and gold top with opera gloves and thigh boots lined in green. Her top has pink flowers, accenting the dark pink petals making up her skirt. As Ameth, she has grown in size and her eyes are blue. Her hair has gained extra curls and a purple ombre, while her wings resemble damaged machinery. Her hair ornaments are tattered to match her skirt, while the white top, gloves, and boots have turned black. The gloves and boots have a purple diamond pattern around the top. Above her head is a pink halo. As a navigation fairy, Fio is very knowledgeable about the world of Astrum. She knows everything about the game, from the monsters, to locations and even items in its world. This made her important to Yuuki as his personal guide due to how very little he knew, and a important member of Twinkle Wish. Although friendly, Fio had a bad habit of pointing out mistakes that her friends would make, something both Yuuki and Rei found annoying about her. She seems to also be aware about the concept of romance as she quickly noticed Yui's crush on Yuuki and would sigh at how hilariously dense Yuuki was. Fio had an excitable love for adventure, but also a dry sense of humor, two things he shared with Hiyori and Yuuki. Over the time she spent adventuring with Twinkle Wish, she grew very close to each of them and would go out of her way to "cheat" by informing them of certain secrets to help them when needed, especially against the Seven Crowns and their affiliates. Her loyalty and deep bond to the group reached its critical extent where she fought alongside them against Kaiser Insight, leading to her near-deletion. As Ameth, her personality had drastically changed. Gone was her happy and excited energy, with the only remaining part of her old personality being her dry, if now more blunt, sense of humor. Ameth has become more jaded towards the world she once wanted to explore and now only seeks to right what went wrong. She is now far more aware of circumstances happening in Astrum and will do what it takes to fix it, even choosing to keep Yuuki in the dark instead of telling him the truth during their occasional meetings in her domain. Though Ameth has removed herself from everyone, she is shown to still care about Yuuki and their former guild, as she was the one who personally tended to him after Minerva brought him back and ceaselessly looks out for him, Yui, Hiyori and Rei more than anyone else. It's implied that, despite her claims, she wants to return to Landosol and be reunited with her old friends. In the anime, Ameth is more emotional than in the game. When Yuuki and the others come face-to-face with Christina Morgan, she immediately transports Yuuki's consciousness to her domain after he took a direct hit meant for Hatsune, expressing worry for Christina's unexpected appearance and Yuuki's safety. Compared to her game counterpart, Ameth shows her care for Yuuki more openly, tearfully hoping that he remember the times he spent with her and their old guild and snapping him out of his breakdown after his nightmare. However, she still chooses to keep the truth a secret from him, but it's implied that she is doing so as to not cause an emotional and psychological shutdown in Yuuki, as was almost the case in his nightmare.
