Kaede Otori

Kaede Otori is a secondary character in Komi Can't Communicate. She's a former classmate of Shouko, Hitohito, and Najimi, known generally as a very lackadaisical and gentle student. She was also the second person that was able to make Komi Shouko talk. Kaede has long black hair, with a green-ish tinge and bangs that covers her forehead. She is seen with a low ponytail and a bow at the end. Kaede has an ahoge sticking out on the top of her head and frame hairs that cover the sides of her face, bundled with hair ties at the ends. She is most often seen in the female school uniform; she wears it with knee-high socks, the school cardigan underneath her jacket, and her skirt almost reaching her knees. Cute and Airheaded in nature, Kaede very rarely takes much of what's going on around her seriously. In this makes her seem rather unintelligent, and childish but it's merely just her innocence. She is always seen with her eyes closed, making cutesy expressions showing she's not above acting sweet and tender. Kaede likes to smile a lot, and is generally pleasant to be around, despite herself acting idle of the situation.
